Lighting Education Trust
The Lighting Education Trust was established in 1995, born out of a determination to maintain industry support for the acclaimed MSc in Light & Lighting at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London.
The LET is an independent charitable trust under the joint trusteeship of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) and the Institution of Lighting Engineers (ILE). The aims of the LET are "To encourage, oversee and, where appropriate, assist in the funding of education in 'Lighting' at all levels and thereby develop the overall standards of lighting practice in the UK"
The LET, through South Bank University, run two very successful distance learning courses, the LET Intermediate Award and the LET Diploma.
