Education
The SLL Lighting Diploma is widely recognised as the benchmark for lighting professionals.
The Society plays a major part in developing educational courses such as the distance learning package by the LET and the MSc run by the UCL Bartlett School of Architecture. We also run the series of one day Masterclasses in various parts of the country where you can quickly be updated on the latest trends and technology. Mid Career College runs courses on a range of building services subjects.
SLL Lighting Diploma
The Society recognises specialisation in lighting by the award of its Diploma to members who have attained an appropriate standard in light and lighting along with relevant experience. The Diploma is available to all classes of membership but is made ONLY to Society members. If you are awarded the Diploma you also qualify for the Member class of the Society. More information here.
Mid Career College
Mid Career College has been providing training for building services professionals in the UK for over 20 years. We offer a wide variety of accredited short courses from introductory to advanced levels. Their lighting courses are featured on the SLL Events page.

Lighting Education Trust
The Lighting Education Trust was established in 1995, born out of a determination to maintain industry support for the acclaimed MSc in Light & Lighting at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. More information here
